I posted this question on a different coin web site as well.
I have about 40-50 1859 large cents and I have looked at 100's at coin shows and on ebay and this is the only one I have seen with the stem attached to the 8TH leaf.
My question is what would the rarity of a coin with the stem attached on the 8TH leaf?

I started my leaf count from the leaf above the N in one and ended it at the leaf below the 5 in 1859 a short stem leaf upper side of the vine.

papeldog: check the CCRS site. You forced me to do an informal count. 5:237 of those not in holders and other info as well

I don't know what happened to the E in Cent it sure is messed up, the die must have broke?
