I agree the 1925P going by where it has come from should do well moving forward. Mind you not quite as nice or as beautiful as a nice ancient or a middle ages silver coin ;)

To get things back on topic.
What is everyone's thought on the success of the TV mintmark coins?

Well that will be determined by mintage and how scattered out around the world they become. So lets plan on SCATTERING some in Indiana! I guess it would be my humble opinion if you collect Aussie Dollars, now or later, it will become a MUST have coin! Time will tell!

My opinion is they will be popular short term but long term will lose interest. But that's just my opinion and I'm usually wrong. I got a weird one today. The place where the mintmark is stamped is elongated or egg shaped and the coin has a rough patch on the top right. The Queen's side has a rough patch above the crown also. Image: tvmmj.jpg87.06 KB

I ordered my 5 coins the day this topic was posted (exactly a month ago) and have not received them yet. Does anyone know how long the RAM take to deliver? Steve

Well funnily enough I did EXACTLY the same thing on the same day. I also ordered some first/last issue $5 notes. The $5 notes arrived on Wednesday. The coins did not.

The RAM as well as the PM have at times taken "forever" sending out individual purchases. It is my opinion that they look after the big dealers first before filling the orders from individual collectors.
I have found it is so much easier and faster buying new releases from a dealer at the same issue price than from the Mints.

I'd check with the RAM. I ordered the day the "TV" mm was released and received them about a week later. Some weeks ago.

I orderd 5 from the RAM about a month ago. The coins arrived after 3 weeks.
You should check with them to make sure your order was received.
