It has been discussed on my Lincoln Dansco thread. One member contacted them but they said there was probably a 200 or something minimum.

About fifteen years ago I ordered some replacement binders for my oldest Dansco albums. The man I spoke with on the phone said it would be no problem. He gave me a price, told me to write down what I wanted and send a check to pay for it.

While I had him on the phone, I asked him about printing custom pages. He said that they could do almost anything that I wanted, as long as I was willing to pay for it. No mention was made of a minimum, but I can imagine that volume discounts would apply.

Things may have changed by now. It should be noted that this was a casual conversation to satisfy my curiosity. I had no serious intentions of having the pages made.

My mother always said "It never hurts to ask. The worst they can do is say no."

Are all Dansco Roosevelt albums like that?

I see they put the plain (P) first then the D (Denver), except for 1963. The D comes first?

Forgot to say ... very nice looking set

I just noticed that. Very odd.

My Roosevelt Dansco has 1963 in the correct order. But mine is the 7125 (The one without proofs; I put all of my proofs on a separate page that I added later).

Well, I think they are the better of whats available. Make a custom one with the holes I want and I would buy it from you.

I am not really complaining. I am stating that I would rather not have to buy the 1922-D Plain for my album.

However, the inclusion of that variety and typographical errors are not unique to Dansco. And Whitman expects us to buy some of the more popular doubled die varieties. Now that would cause me to complain!

1 - "hey Perry, you think if we add slots for well known varieties people will try to fill them, even though
it's near impossible to get them?"
2 - "yea sure."
1 - "you don't think that will drive anyone crazy, do you?"
2 - "crazier than they already are? Nah."

What's wrong with Roosevelt's face on the 61p? It looks like there's a big gouge out of his cheek; he looks like Two-face or something.
