I have a 2003A $2 bill AU
Serial number L00253353A

is this anything special or should I just put it back in the spending pile?

I would get rid of it because of all 12 FRBs San Francisco had the most $2 printed for that year. They had 10 runs printed or 6400 0000 notes printed. The next closest are New York and Chicago with 4 runs a piece or 2560 0000 notes printed. The serial is almost cool, but ultimatly I would move on and find a better note.
