60 days ( more like 30)
77 items
$$ 2,050.33
avg $$ 26.62
I have not bought coins in a few years so that is my justification.. I have slowed down but I was wondering has anybody else bought like this, then slowed down to a normal level.

[:0] Addicted may be putting it lightly! I have to admit I do the same although I usually purchase from a dealer.

hahaha darn right... what scares me is I started out buying smaller items, I might buy 6 -7 items from one seller... and pay from 10 bucks to .01 for some items. Now I am only looking at items at around $100 bucks or more. From one cent to now 100 bucks in les than a month.

You may have somewhat of an "addictive personality" like most of us. Who can resist something that they see and like and the $ is good? I binge with e-bay depending on what I'm after at the time. I wouldn' worry about it Sid...you're just normal. However, if it starts to cause financial hardships then you had better ease off as real problems are down the road.

Me: 49 wins, 355 losses in 14 days (that is, the first 2 weeks of my ebay coin experience). Bottom feeding at less than $5 per. Uh...a little addicted.

If your heart starts to race when your into the last few seconds of the auction, you might be addicted.[:p]

I see some of you guys are having a little fun with me...
But it is good to see I am not the only one who may have gone overboard from time to time...
I have learned alot in the past month or so.
Now I am much more selective, I got great deals before but now I know exactly what I want and what I want to pay and I am willing to wait, so I have slowed down alot on the # of items but I am spending alot more per item.
Anyway, there are worst things I can be addicted to.. I bet there is a name for being addicted to collecting coins.. Or maybe we can come up with one.

Trying to cut back on my amount of ebaying. I have replaced much of my bidding time with time reading on this site, much cheaper. I usually spend one evening a week on there, but throw down 15-20 bids.

I am addicted to "watching" auctions. I usually have no less then 10-15 I put on my watch list but rarely buy. I just don't have that much faith in ebay but I do like to know what a particular coin will bring when it's all said and done. I think I have actually BOUGHT 4 items in the last year. And two of those were sets from the mint because I thought they couldn't be opened with out breaking the plastic holders. I now know better, you can open those mint sets (I accidently did one of my own) and put it back together without any sign it was opened. Lesson learned!! Unless I know the seller, I doubt I'll be doing much buying on ebay in the future. But watching is fun too! Margaret
