Hey guys, I just came across a small stash of wheaties while going through some things and I am looking to move them - but I have no idea where to start in terms of a decent price.

What I found:

1 roll of 1942-S, mostly in AU condition, some a bit better, some a bit worse. Maybe 3-4 with some ed.

15 1950-D, mostly in AU condition as well.

23 1940-D, mostly MS quality with maybe 2-3 in AU condition.

37 1935-S, mostly in AU-MS condition with a few ed.

49 1940-P, all in MS condition but all with an odd looking rainbowy-metallic tint to them. All the details and luster are that of MS coins, but it has an odd toned look to them.

44 1958-P, mostly circulated in EF-AU condition.

Any help with fair pricing for these lots would be appreciated, I know nothing when it comes to anything outside of Indian pennies. Also, if I get a decent idea of a low-end fair pricing scheme, you might even see these here on the site!

Thanks!
-Ben

Check out numismedia.com. It will give you a good starting point at least.

Hi HippieOutcast! Is GraceOutcast your brother?

The Lincolns you've noted are common dates and unless you find some die varieties or errors, they are probably worth a dollar or two for the MS coins. AU or lower condition sell for up to $5/roll.

The exception would be 1940-P roll. It could be worth $200 if sold as a BU roll.

Thanks for the responses guys!

As for the 40-Ps, I placed one in a holder and scanned it best I could:

What could I reasonably expect to sell these for? Figure total $ amounts on the low end of the pricing chart. So say if they (hypothetically) were worth anywhere from 100-150, I would be looking for $100 or less as a whole.

Well the image of the '40-P doesn't look real good. Color is off as you noted.

BU rolls should be brighter. Worst case: you've got some AU rolls of wheaties that should be worth $5/roll.
