How much is silver value in 90% Silver Half Dollars.

I use the number .715 often. Take (Face Value) X (Spot Price) X .715 for melt value. This works on all 90% junk U.S. silver coinage. Do not use this figure for silver dollars.

For your rolls let's say spot silver price is $18.30. Then:

$10 X $18.30 X .715 = $131.85 is the melt value.

Currently, junk half dollar rolls are around $140/each.

I'm a modest silver buyer (I think it has better long-term potential than gold) at these levels. There will be corrections and drops as time passes, but that happens in all markets.

The U.S. government will be trying to sell as much as $3.5 trillion in short-term debt over the first half of next year. What about all the other member nations of the phony money club who also have bonds to sell? The economic train wreck isn't far off.
