Morning everyone, I have started back collecting after a 15 year layoff and obviously things have changed.

Previously I was storing in 2x2 cardboard flip holders but I hate the look of the staples in them. I have been reading online about Saflips. They don't have PVC which is good but I wanted to get other Numismatics thoughts on them before switching over to them.

Saflips are good for storing coins, I like to get the little paper inserts for them to write on so I do not have to write on the flip itself.

If I go down the Saflips path I plan on ordering the inserts as well to keep things tidy.

I know this is a somewhat random question, but I wonder if there are any side effects to using regular white paper as the insert? Would acids leak into the mylar, for example?
