The owner of the first 1933 saint that was authenticated split that 7.59 million with the government. I'm thinking that was probably a big factor that was arranged before the sale to get the thing legalized. The 10 that surfaced in 2005 are still being haggled over but after the legalization of the first I don't think it's gonna be easy for the government to hang onto them. The big hangup is probably how much the government is gonna get to cut them loose. Also, if I remember right H.R.5077 isn't going to legalize the 1933 double eagles. Everything before hand that wasn't authorized such as 1913 liberty head nickels and 1856
Flying Eagle cents will be okay. Dunno why the government is even bothering since they have shown no previous interest in confiscating them. I'm not 100 % sure about that but that was what I think I read a while back.
