I'd been wanting one for a while and finally picked this one up at a good price a month or so ago. It's currently the oldest coin in my collection.

This quarter cost $53 purchased raw on ebay. I submitted it to PCGS where it garnered a VF-30 grade.

It'll be tough for me to top that one.

That one is amazing! What really blows my mind is people with access to the Internet and the wherewithal to create auctions, sell coins at a tiny fraction of their worth.

Got this a couple of years ago as a higher grade circulated Flying Eagle. Didn't even notice the strong doubling and broken wing tip until I looked at it closely at home.

I purchased 8 one-tenth gold coins (Australia lunar gold coins from the year of rat to the year of ram) in early 2003. Each one tenth gold coin cost me $42. I traded them for store credits ($1,000) to purchase a dollar coin. Thus, $336 cost in 2003 turned out to be $1,000 in 2009. It's about 2-fold revenue.

I have been trying to trade my bullion coins to numismatic coins. Thus, I am happy to see that the gold and silver prices are rising.
