Hi Everybody,

I have a 1914 $10 FRN with an 8-digit radar serial number. Would there be much of increased value for this? And since there were no leading zeroes on the older notes, would this bill command a premium over a similar 6 or 7-digit radar note?

Thanks for your thoughts on this!

Jeff

Yes, there is always a premium for radar notes, repeater notes, low serial numbers, etc.

As far as a premium for an eight digit serial number over a six or seven digit number, I would highly doubt that. The less digits, the better as it is easier to define as a radar note.

If you are aiming to sell, be sure that you advertise clearly 'RADAR' note, as a good many folks won't notice it otherwise.

All I can say is thats sick! Is that an ink spot under the words Washington dc or something else? Either way I bet someone would pay a pretty penny for that.

just it being so old makes it worth more than face. The radar part would in my opinion be something would also add to the value. I am no note collector but I do usually keep anything I find interesting like this though
