Trying to complete my Hungarian Pengo collection. In the post right now: Pity it doesn't have a mass of zeroes on it, because the denomination of this note is 1 quintillion pengo. edit: those CFA francs above are beautiful.

Finally got the new 500 Baht note. Everything arrives late on the island of Koh Samui! And as coincidence would have it I just watched the latest installment of the Thai historical films (King Naresuan 5) that details the life of the guy on the reverse of the note.

Got me this nice fiver today. The back features George Stephenson, with his "Rocket" locomotive.

Occupied Serbian overprint on a Yugoslav note. I think it's neat.

I am still going through a little stack of notes given to me by a family friend. Some are from a recent vacation to the Middle East, but the rest are all from pre-WWII Europe. Here are two of them: Low value but the designs look really great. Strangest of all is a stack of about 400 reichsmark, from after the hyperinflationary period that printed so many common notes (i.e. once Germany had an economy again). They are mostly in decent condition so it seems like the kind of stack brought to Canada by somebody fleeing the country. I'm looking for a way to nicely show all of them at once.

Uncirculated 2-digit repeaters and a radar, bought at face.

That is a nice looking note, Thai-Vic. And free is always a nice thing too!

That Burma 100 Kyat marked Specimen looks very special. Is it valuable?
