And as coincidence would have it I just watched the latest installment of the Thai historical films (King Naresuan 5) that details the life of the guy on the reverse of the note. Altaira Pillar of the Community Canada 2519 Posts	Posted 07/04/2014 12:51 pm I just uncovered A LOT. These have been in my possession for a long time, in my hoard pile. Six months ago I didn't pay attention to any of these, as long as I have it, I have it. These are from my grandma. The note on the top left seems to be missing serials, not sure if it is legit or not. The nice 3 didn't see much circulation at all. These are also from my grandma. They don't seem circulated at all, but I received them in this kind of folded up condition, too bad. These have been sitting in my old wallet for the last nine years. The notes below are from my mom. I remember using the Rp 50000 and 20000 during the first half of my primary school years. I miss the colourful notes from this series (the 20000 is a bit of an oddball), they are nicer than the current circulating one, the current ones are bland single-colour notes. And this is the crown jewel, a repeater and my first fancy serial. Picked out from a bunch of old sequential notes. I just wonder why I waited this long just to have a proper look at them. nalaberong Pillar of the Community Canada 2805 Posts	Posted 07/05/2014 8:29 pm I am still going through a little stack of notes given to me by a family friend. Some are from a recent vacation to the Middle East, but the rest are all from pre-WWII Europe. Here are two of them: Low value but the designs look really great. Strangest of all is a stack of about 400 reichsmark, from after the hyperinflationary period that printed so many common notes (i.e. once Germany had an economy again). They are mostly in decent condition so it seems like the kind of stack brought to Canada by somebody fleeing the country. I'm looking for a way to nicely show all of them at once.
