Here's my latest for my world dictator set. There's a lot of folds and wrinkles but he's pretty hard to find at decent price.

Thanks Dave. I've been searching for about 1 year now one at a good price. Pulled the trigger as soon as I saw it.

Haven't been on the forum for a while and haven't had the funds to acquire a new note. :( But here's my latest addition. Central Bank of Manchukuo 1 Yuan 1932 J125a Really loved the colour of the flag and had been wanting one pretty much since day one of my collecting career, but almost impossible to find one in UNC condition, this is the best I could do for now :)

18 $2 bills. One of them has a love letter written on the back.

After a while in banknote retirement (Hardly bought a thing recently) I came out hitting hard and made two impulsive purchases on the bay! The first is a note I have planned on owning for a while, I wanted a better grade but didn't want to buy from the US and get done on the import duty... so this one worked out OK value for money I think. The second note really doesn't tie in with any of my collecting themes (I have a folder for US, a folder for UK and a couple of world folders containing sets from different countries) but it appealed to me despite knowing very little about it. Any info would be gratefully received since I don't have any books that would contain such a note. Its an early Russian 50 rouble note. I have no idea if I paid the right price or if the note is right, but the seller seemed reputable and for such an old note it didn't seem extortionate.

Sorry David it refers to your Russian 50 Rubles. The P#8 is the catalog number in the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money.

Ahh thanks for the info...appears I overpaid for it but NVM. Seems strange that they are issuing a note in 1912-1917 with the 1899 date on it... obviously I was assuming it to be that old.
