Kennedy Halves - Bi-Centenial - Coin Community Forum

nancyk Valued Member United States 94 Posts	Posted 01/28/2010 7:20 pm Are ALL the clad bi-centenial halves (Kennedy) clad with silver and copper? If not, how do you tell the difference? If silver clad, they would be 40% clad, right? Report this Post to the Staff

biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 01/28/2010 7:25 pm 40% silver clads were available in the special Bicentennial 3 coin Mint Sets and Proof Sets with the S mintmark. The regular Proof Set contained CuNi clad coins. Report this Post to the Staff

Those "saved hoards" of bicentennials aren't worth diddly !! I only keep REALLY nice BU examples of em' if I run across any while roll hunting......and I've NEVER found a silver bicentennial while "silver huntin'"...[V] Report this Post to the Staff
