I worked the lunch shift one day on the register and noticed about 15 silver dimes in the till. I immediately confiscated them. Turns out some old lady had paid for her meal the night before with a roll of dimes - all silver! I only got the 15 that were left as some doofus gave out the rest as change! I cut back on the number of half boxes and increased my volume of dime boxes and CWR'S since I can't seem to get any CWR'S regarding halfs and your right, lately the silver in the halfs has been pretty slim so might as well go to where the Silver is better right now and that's dimes! SDcoinguy Pillar of the Community United States 2424 Posts	Posted 05/17/2010 9:56 pm good start to the week: $235 - 60-d half way through a brinks box and 1x 64-d... ok so I made it all the way through the brinks and only a long 64-d.. one complaint I have about the brinks wrappers are that the coin edges seem to be shinny and start to play tricks on my eyes. I keep thinking I see silver, but because they seem to rub a lot, it can be deceiving. i am going to go back to my string n sons boxes tomorrow.. going to try and do at least a box a day this week. . last week I netted 8 dimes in 2 days... so I'm anxious to see what every day can bring... I returned to the bank for afresh box of dimes. results.. 3x 64-d's 1x 53-s which brings my 2 days of searching this week to 6 and 2 week total of 14. not bad! im sticking with dimes... dont care what you all find in halves....lol by the way I picked up some new prez dollars, franklin pierce..
