People are paying 71 dollars for 25 dollars worth of copper cents? Where?

I haven't rolled any of them, but I now have 20 large coffee cans full. I bought a bag of wheats (5000) several years ago and remember they weighed around 35 pounds. Does anyone know if that sounds about right?

IMHO,save the copper. sell when you get $25. easier to ship and an easy, 15-%40 profit

SDcoinguy- eh, it just seems to be more trouble than it is worth to try to sell them, plus there probably are not too many people out there who want to buy them since you can still get them from circulation.

i sold mine in 1 day. but to each his own... good luck with whatever route you choose.. something that I keep in mind is that the really rare expensive coins will more than likely still be there...

if you really want to get rid of them, at least give me a box for face.

i probably put the wrong emphasis on words.. just saying I could sell his hoard for him. since it sounds like he doesn't want to go that route. I would work out a % with him..lol

Consider swapping them for a coin you want here on coin community! Why give it to the banks who are stealing so much of our money right now anyway.... Sincerely, John Leckrone

925dealer- Well, I really don't think that anyone would want to pay to ship 140 lbs. of cents. So I have a feeling that if spent they would end up back at the bank. As it is, even all of my local coin dealers said that they would not want to pay me face for them due to how much space they would take up and the likelihood that the ban will be extended for who knows how many years. So, I think of it as being kind of a cycle much like reincarnation: one thing ends so that something else can begin.
