Are there any tips for getting cases of coins? Or is it purely luck? Seems like I have a good relationship with one teller however, I don't know how to tell if coin rolls may have already been searched or ask for a certain kind. Along with the quarter case I got a case of dimes...only a few rolls left to check but, no silver yet. I little bit humbling considering I bought 1 roll of dimes two weeks earlier and it had 13 silver '67s. I didn't expect silver all the time but thought I'd at least get one in a case. I guess it was beginners luck.

I appreciate any tips for getting better odds.

If you look below his username, it says he is in Canada.

We used silver in our coins until 1968 unlike the US who stopped at 1964.

finding large dumps like 13 silver dimes in one roll is very possible. Sometimes people don't know what they have and wrap it up and bring it to the bank. I once found a roll of quarters that had 7x 1953 canadian silver quarters in it.

Coin roll hunting IS NOT a get rich quick scam. You tried making your point with your pointless topic you've already created. You don't need to start spreading that "get rich scam" crap around the forum anymore so I advise you stop now.

Not sure who you are referring to in terms of get rich quick. If it was from my post on the first page, it was in reference to the first post on this topic. Regarding going through an entire case and getting nothing. It is true about the roll of dimes with 13 silver though. They were all 67's. Recently I found a 65 dime that is silver...but through change and not in any roll or case. This is definitely not a way to get rich quick. If it was for the money I would get a second job before roll hunting.
