I agree. I think the wheat stalks are a little to worn for XF45 and probably XF40. However I wonder if that is due to a weak strike more than wear. There is weakness after all in UN of United and OF.

I think you have a VF35/XF40 slider depending on whether the wheat stalk issues are wear or weak strike. All in all its a very nice 09-S with nice surfaces and relatively hit free minus Lincolns cheek.

I will be interested to see what others think about this coin.

A strike weakness on the left wheat head would be more uniform, this is not a strike issue but wear. VF-35 and a beautiful coin.
