"1948- 1964 silver Washington quarters, all dates and mint marks. 41 coins total"
"1948-1963 Franklin half set, all dates and mint marks. 35 coins total"

Both sets for $425. Range from VF to BU. One concern is that they are in the blue Whitmans.

I haven't seen them, just wondering if it is worth the drive to check them out.

Silver melt value alone is $367. If they are VF-BU looks like a deal to me.

Doesn't seem bad. Being in blue Whitmans is not a concern, especially if they are albums. No Whitman folders or albums contain PVC or other harmful materials.

Maybe they'll accept $400. Never hurts to ask.

He was at $500 ($175 for the Washingtons and $325 for the Franklins) and I got him down to $425 for both.

Regarding the blue Whitman folders, I recently bought some Lincolns that looked good on the obverse, but are seriously corroded and/or have tons of the paper stuck to them on the reverse.

What's the deal with the blue whitmans? I've seen other people cringe blue whitmans are mentioned before.

Maybe the albums are better, but as I just mentioned above, here is my most recent experience with the blue Whitman folder.
