When I see loose silver halves I just say to them " let me go ahead and take those off your hands also so you will not have to keep counting them". They will gladly hand them over with a smile. Just because she didn't give you the exact halves that you pointed to doesn't mean that she didn't fulfill her obligation. Next time buy all of the halves that she has. Pick the ones out that you want and sell the rest back. Report this Post to the Staff
SDcoinguy Pillar of the Community United States 2424 Posts	Posted 05/06/2010 9:37 pm and the tellers at my bank say they do not look through the rolls unless shipping a bag out - when they receive $1000 in halves they unroll what they have in their vault and ship them out... otherwise the rolled coin you see in their drawer, has not been looked through, hence the silver that Spettii received the other day Report this Post to the Staff
