Hmm... a second reply while guesses are still pending! Interesting. I did reply, but did not give # right or position right to the pending guesses because there is an outstanding question on one of them. I did not want to give unfair advantage by responding with # right or position on some while another corrects a guess. I mentioned nod2003's double DKK because I felt it was only fair, since I noticed it. Now it's only fair to ask for a general consensus: Shall we let this initial second guess slide due to the circumstances? nod2003 - I'll give you until 2pm EST to post a corrected guess if you want to, then after that will take your guess as-is and reply to yours and everyone else's guess. No more second guesses in the meantime till we figure out this first one  |

Oh, I guess not. There's a queue here. I saw three "quotes" and assumed they were feedbacks. That's what happens when I try to play this between the classes!

Yah, this one's tricky. I'm inclined to let this one slide with a slap on the wrist (  ) due to how it went down, but I'd like to have everyone agree. I see what you mean now about the replies (and the last I quoted nod's guess) so I can definitely see that. I really wasn't trying to trick anyone.. lol! |

I don't know what you guys are talking about with "queue"
I say let svslav slide (since we were calling him names, which I still have to keep stopping myself!).
And IF DKK is in the answer, and IF one of them is in the right place, how are you going to score that? The one that's right but not in the right place, OR the one that's right and in the right place?

I have to go back and re-read the first two pages. I thought his second guess was legit, and I gave him a quiet 'atta-boy' here at my desk.

Technically, it would be. The only reason it is under review is because she had not "technically" answered the pending responses, including ours. In football, they only have 2 minutes to review a play. |

As for the other guess in question, considering... Quote:

One would be a right position and one would be a wrong position. The "DKK" guess itself would only count as one right or one wrong. Otherwise if you list 12 DKK's and it's in the list, you'd end up with 12 right and 1 in the right position - which would be extremely misleading. |

I would have counted 12 DKK's as 1 right, 1 in the right position. The other 11 DKK's are wrong.
