...okay, okay. I know nothing is unsearched right? I said I'd never buy a roll from some estate sale claiming to be unsearched right? Right!

Well a dealer over at Collector's Universe had 5 BU rolls of Franklin Halves for sale without a huge premium and one of them was one of those unsearched rolls he just got in from an estate!

I went for it. Here's his pics. It's the only roll in a group of 5 clearly BU rolls that is OBW. Should I open it?

Unsearched-Franklin-Roll..... Unsearched-Franklin-Roll..... Unsearched-Franklin-Roll.....

okay, got to go, I cant wait until I get home!

though I have a guess, it'll be all 1954's
because it has 1954 stamped on the side, which could mean a buncha different things but it also has a 1954 Franklin on the end.

I bought 5 BU Franklin rolls for $800 delivered, so it was $160/roll.

All 5 were sold as solid date, BU rolls from years between 1953 to 1962. I thought the price was fair.
