Ok, here goes:

Also, I don't know if this is worth a free guess, but isn't El Salvador now on the dollar and not the El Salvador colon (SVD)? I thought they switched over in 2001.

Dear John Paul,
The Salvadoran government undertook a monetary integration plan beginning January 1, 2001 by which the U.S. dollar became legal tender alongside the Salvadoran colón.
In 2004, the colón stopped circulating and is now never used in the country for any type of transaction. However, the colon has not officially ceased to be legal tender.
The symbol (ISO code) is still SVC.
This is an interesting tale, and I have learned something from this. To show my appreciation I am awarding you a free guess. I have learned enough for one night, so nobody else try this. Nice going John.
