Hi.I have 11 pages of LC bought as a part of the lot.Albums are damaged.I missed pic of 1 page.I need some help with valuation before I sell it.Any help welcome. If you have specific questions about lot-just let me know.I try to answer asap.Pics are high resolution.
First, those folders have a tendency to do some nasty things to the backs of those coins, depending on how long they have been in there.
Anyone bidding on the set would most likely be interested in the 1909 VDB, 1910-S and the 1915-S. Those would be the money makers of the set (again depending on condition). Everything else is fairly common and easily obtainable. It would be a great starter set for someone looking to fill some holes fast.
If I were to bid on a set like this, I probably wouldn't go any higher than $40-50, but again, it's the unknown condition of the backs of these coins. If you put them up for sale, you may want to take pictures of the obverse and reverse of at least those 3 that I mentioned.
