THE QUEEN HAS SPOKEN!!! I knew someone would FINALLY recognize me! Yup, thats me alright! Guess you don't want to know where that buffalo is right now? Wait, lets see, that was Saturday of the hunt and I didn't get a shot and after 300 yards of crawling with a huge rifle (exhausting at my age) I did NOT get a shot so that buffalo is still out there! Yes, I remember clearly now as when we returned to get our horses, they had gotten out of the hobbles and ran off! Yup, that is the day we had to WALK back to camp! Then we had to go get a truck and go find the horses! Wonder what the good old boys did, way back when, when there was no truck?

Well, back in those days the good old boys were smart enough to not get off of their horses in the first place, and crawl along the ground hunting Buffalo. They just rode into town and tied up at the hitching post and went in and ordered a Buffalo steak. A whole lot more enjoyable this way.

I became known as "Ziggy" in college and with my softball team when I was in my early twenties. I was, as my buddies said, the lovable loser, the young bald guy who couldn't get the girl, the person who all the ladies liked as a friend but not as a potential lover, all that stuff. At first I took it as an affront, but I came to accept it later.
The "29" part comes from my role as an avid softball player who was first given uniform number 29 and decided to keep it.

Old Dan are you sure that was a steak they were ordering? Never see that in the movies and everyone knows Hollywood is ALWAYS very accurate with their historical settings and enactments! Would like to know when they finally got some ICE in the saloons as warm drinks just don't suit my fancy as Sasparilla must have been terrible HOT?

Mine is very boring, just a combination of my last and middle names. It's a name I used for a failed business during a period of unemployment so I use it for lots of computer things.

Knowtracks, Great story!
Mine is really boring. My first BB/online forum experience was on the college basketball espn forum, waaay back in '95-95. I thought I'd sum it all up for those who aren't fans of my college team, of which there are many, and the SF is for San Francisco. Kept it for the s2000, flying, and coin forums, just for consistency/laziness. Don

Well, mine is somewhat transparent. I like coins, and I live in Connecticut.

My handle is my favorite (from a while ago) card in the Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game. (Link to see the actual card, and if you surf around the site you can see what I'm talking about.) http://decipherstore.fanhq.com/TCG/...&cardID=1273I played the LotR TCG for 3-4 years but then the parent company made 4 BAD exspansion sets in a row and I decided that it was time to get out. I sold all my cards and moved that money into one of my childhood hobbies, coin collecting. I just kept the handle when I changed hobbies.

CT, Outstanding handle- wondered about it when I saw your moniker elsewhere. Also like your quote, although it is scary to me (obviously, given my quote, I'm a fan of Jeff's writing and ideas). Forget about political party, I feel as though our political syatem is broken, and I despair that we're all too overwhelmed to fix it. I don't think the founding fathers intended the House to be the entrenched body that it is, with noncompettive races ensured through computer aided gerrymandering. And then there is the influence of money on the political process- which I feel undermines "one man, one vote" Don
