Hi all,
This is a 1956 Colombian cent with a tripling of certain elements on the obverse, does anyone know how this happens?
Thanks!

Doubling of the type you apparently have here usually happens when the die is being made. Working dies are made using hubs which are positive dies. These normally have to be pressed into the die steel more than one time to get a complete impression. The result can be multiple images of some parts of the coin design.

There are many known doubled dies in the Colombian series.
