Used to do that all the time. One not so funny place myself and others have glued a coin down is in the middle of a walkway accross a bussy street. Right by a revolving door, either on the floor or on the door itself, at a busy store. Natually done at night so not to many witnesses. There are a lot of fun places to glue a coin if you have the nerve. A police car's bumper or tire for example.
When we were kids we did all sorts of things with coins. Find a dogs turd and place a Nickel on it gets some odd readtions too.

The first time I fell victim to the joke it was an old walker at the end of an aisle in an antique store. My wife saw it first and I was on it like a bulldog on a pork chop. Three other guys watched and laughed. The second time it was an Ike. Been there, done that! I'll still bend down and try to pick it up. Always got the coin or the bill every other time.

mr.wisker, I could not agree with you more. Entertainment at someone else's expense is not humorous.
