I've recently been getting more interested in historic medals, typically British and continental European, early 17th - late 19th century and have managed to aquire and successfully sell quite a lot of material.

Could anyone suggest a few good general reference books to start with? So far I have been relying to much on just using the internet for research. Any suggestions much appreciated!

Do you have 'British Historical Medals by Lawrence Brown? It's a bit pricey though, around $200, but worth if you are seriously into historical medals

I don't have it - but will add it to the list and keep an eye out. Thanks for the suggestion
