Scooby Due Pillar of the Community United States 4000 Posts	Posted 08/01/2010 10:58 am My guess would be that the "intruding" characters are incuse on the coin, meaning they were raised on whatever it came from. If it were a die clash, it would be slightly raised on the coin, because the design is incuse on the die. Report this Post to the Staff
coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 08/01/2010 1:28 pm Thr first clue if that that the devices on the highest point of the coin are affected. On a die clash the devices for the deeper part (highest point on a coin) remain untouched during a clash. The dies fields are usually all that are touched during a clash. The devices from the opposite die transfer the edges of the devices to the fields. there are cases where a deep clash can affect the mid die devices, but very rare. When a clash happens only the fields usually touch.
