I can get by grading coins with a monarch on the back but I am not sure how to grade tokens. I believe this is a PC-1B3 variety. Does anyone know what grade it is? Thanks!

I like these things; I actually have a number of Canadian tokens. I am going by the beaver; I will say VF/EF.

I would call it VF. I'm a conservative grader though and Colonials are tricky. Could have a shot at EF. I've always liked these too, especially having worked at the Bank of Montreal

Thanks guys. Unless I hear strenuous objections, I'll mark it as VF (I like being conservative too in my grading). Cost me $10.50 and the latest Charlton has it at $12 for VF. I usually aim for much lower than the book but not knowing tokens makes it difficult.

I like a lot of the tokens too so the cost is fine with me.

I think you did very well. That's a strong token and that nifty die crack is an added bonus
