Got a 1963 $10 star note today. Not in that good of condition though, it has a small tear on the bottom, a purple mark and two folds... first old find though.

Found 1977 $20 bill from getting cash out of a ATM. Also, got a 1993 $100 bill when sold my car. Both went into my collection.

nice old bill, Ximon!

I see that the upper right serial number is touching some of the engraving, but on earlier $10 bills, this is fairly common..

$1 1999 - F00451843*

Total Printed 640,000
Fr. Number 1925
Run 1
Run Range 00000001 - 00640000

You have yourself a fairly low run star note and when it comes to value condition is everything so you will need to post a scan of the note for further help.

Oh and the names are Mary Ellen Withrow & Lawrence H. Summers.

Nice find! Old bill and a star note, not bad for paying just $1.
