Quote: Should I keep this bill or spend it I need opinions please. If you need the money, feel free to spend it. I think $50s are the most common old style bills to find, and with nothing much special about that note, it will actually lose value over time due to inflation.

1981 Just one of over 33 million G/Chicago $100 notes. My husband brought this home from the bank. It's sort or curved in the center -- like it's been in a wallet -- but otherwise perfect. I see that one sold on the bay yesterday for $124.99.

i recently got a 1969 20 from my sister and a 1990 100 but I am going to have to cash the 100 in at a bank. but the good news is I will have the money at the beginning of next month to get a new 100 plus I have a 1993 100 so I am ok with cashing it in.

Landed a 1950-C $10 note, the condition is extremely poor so face value only, but still, it's a 1950!

Two friends saved me a 1995 $20 And a 1950 A $5. Great finds in my opinion. Also got a 2006 $1 star in circulation! I love the small portraits...

Not an old bill but didn't think it deserved its own thread. Got this guy in change from a Rally's.... a couple months ago. Never got around to uploading a picture. Naturally I didn't look closely and shoved it into my pocket as soon as I got it. Not too big of an issue as there is a pinhole above George's right eye.

Part of what I like about being a cashier, I get to find all kinds of cool things. Have yet to get my hands on an old 50, never got the opportunity to trade for one. Also saw a silver certificate once, but customer didn't want to trade for it. Said she took it out of her mom's purse (What?) Also once got a penny from 1918 from a customer who gave me a pile of pennies. (Kept it just because it was so old). Full size: http://imageshack.com/a/img18/3829/4q1a.jpg

Im a manager at an auto parts store. I typically don't spend much time on the drawers with today being the exception.
Today a lady paid for her new starter with some money her mom left her when she passed:
1889 morgan 1884o morgan 2x 1934 Chicago 50 1953 red seal 2
I told her that the money she is giving me is worth more then she thinks but she ignored me and gave it up anyway cause she was in a rush. :)

@gotboosted
And this is exactly the reason why I find myself carrying at least $100 in cash with me to work now... lol.
I'm sure the mother rolled over in her grave :|

kevinsun242- I have a 1977 $50 but can't find any old style 5, 10, 20. I always find the old 50s and 100s.
