I got a series 1999 $1 today, SN G06159362H, but get this: I found it in the hall at my school! I feel like it was meant for me to pick it up, since it's been folded but otherwise crisp!

I found 13 $2 US notes, a mix of series 1953 to 1963 today. It's been about three years since I found a bunch of them at one branch.

About a week ago I asked a teller to look through his bills for the non-colorized ones. There wasn't any 10's or 20's but he looked through his loose 5's and then opened a strap to look through . Got a total of 10 $5 bills, 1995 and 1988. And Here are three bills that I saved quite a few years ago because they were "old" (with the exception of the foreign one.), so I though they were worth saving. BTW, is there any reason some picture of bills have the serial numbers covered over/blacked out? I saw it a few times elsewhere, but no one here is doing it.

Wheathunter, you're just like me! Seems like you enjoy getting non-colorized bills like me, and you even have a 1999 $10 saved! People tell me to spend some of my collected bills, but looks like you're keeping them for the same reason as me: sentimental reasons! As for the serial numbers, I'm not sure why they would be blacked out in pictures, in fact, the opposite is often necessary since serial numbers can have a huge difference on the bill value!

Yes, the foreign bill and the $20 and $10 I'm keeping for sentimental reasons. For the $5 bills I'm keeping the 6 in the first picture. I'll probably keep about 6-10 and as I get better ones I will replace some of them. I keep them because I think they are cool and because I can . Here are the other four $5 bills that I didn't/won't keep.

Today: 2001 $20 1999 $10 2006 $5 (non-colorized, how common are these?) 2003A $5 And 2 small portrait 5's, both from 1995.
Finally, I got a CRISP 1988A $1, sadly it's not a web note, but still cool to get something that old!

A crisp 1988A is a pretty amazing find! Glad it has found a good home.

I already spent it, but I received a very nice Series 1974 $1 in my change recently. It was still fairly crisp and had no extreme creases or folds, so that made my day.

You spent it? It sounded like a keeper and was only one dollar out of your pocket.

I found these in circulation, although it's been a few years ago. The top silver certificate is series of 1935. The middle two are 1957. The fiver reserve note is series of 1928.

Here are my 2 dollar bills. Top two are series of 1995, in perfect condition, and serial numbers are in consecutive order. Third one is series of 1976 and is also in uncirculated condition. Bottom bill with the red seal is series of 1953.

I got a 1990 $10.00 bill in change today while shopping at Target. It's not in the best shape, but I'll keep it.
