The tellers showed me bills from their mutilated pile, and some were actually some fairly crisp 20s, I took all but one since it was beat up.
2x 1990, one was AU and the other was probably VF or so. 1X 1995, VF 1x 1981A, AU, I saved it since it was an upgrade for my previous small portrait 20. 1990 $10, appeared to have been crumpled recently. All I can say is, I saved these bills from an unfortunate fate! (though I can't afford to hold onto them all, so I'll hopefully end up passing them to someone else who cares about money)

Very nice, especially the $20 FRBN. Interesting that the customer got them from the bank. I wonder if he asked for interesting bills & then decided to spend these for a laugh or two..

I actually asked him if he collects and he said that the bank just gave those bills to him when he was taking money from his account Where was I during this time

I got a $10 from 1981 a few years ago. It's not in the best of condition, but I've kept it.

Quote: '74 $10 star note Pretty nice find. A couple of years ago my father went to the bank and got maybe $60 or $100 in cash, but he got it all in 10s for some reason. They ranged from 1969 to 1981 I think, and I traded him a $20 for the two oldest bills.

Getting a very nice 1963 $10 bill in great condition (saved for me by a cashier, not in change) at the Circle K finished off a very nice day for me that included 6 wheats from 10 rolls of pennies, including a 1930, 1930-D and a 1944 from one roll. Also a 1923-S, 1944-D and a 1955. Also picked up 2 rolls of halves and got a 1968-D and a 2004.
