One of my bank tellers saved me a 1995 $10, I took it even though I already have a 1995 since that was a kind gesture and small portrait bills are hard to come by these days.

At the local ice cream shop, the owner somehow found out that I collect old bills, and asked if I wanted to trade for some old 10 dollar bills he had lying around. I had enough for one, and I picked an uncirculated 1985 bill since I didn't have one in my collection. Pretty cool that the store owner knows about my collection without me even telling him!

At school I was trading bills with various people and one of the ones I received back was a 2003 L-J $1.

One of my teachers had a 1995 E..A $1 (printed in November 1995). Unfortunately, I had no money to trade for it... :(

To put it into perspective for you: Over 2000 dollar bills get re-entered into Where's George every day, but out of probably close to 1000 ones I saw yesterday, NONE of them were previously marked. Makes you wonder where all the wilds are, but then again, there's billions of dollars in cash circulating right now.
Basically, I was at a school play yesterday and explained to the teacher in charge of the concession stand that I was looking for tagged bills, and she said she would look out for me. At the end, there was at least a couple hundred bucks in ones alone, and after going through them, there were no wilds, but there were a few 1995s I traded out, and I ended up obtaining a J-R bill that way.

Some guy at school was selling candy bars (not condoned by the school) to various people at a ridiculous price, and he showed me his stash. I asked if he wanted to trade his bills for my marked ones, which believe it or not, he was cool with. What amazes me is that in 10 bucks, there were THESE bills:
1999 star note (and a binary, too! B09110190) 1995 L-G in comparable condition to a 2013 bill 1988A non-web note in circulated condition.

09110190 is not a binary. It's actually called a "trinary", and has slightly less value. A binary would be something like 09099990 or 19919199.

Unlike binaries, trinaries don't really have any premium.
