Nice one! It looked like a gutter fold at a glance, but I see that it isn't.

Nowhere near as interesting as the '74 Jackson above, but still cool.
Today my grandparents gave me and my sister some money. As I was looking through mine, I saw there was a 2003A bill. It got even better...it was a star note! J..*, printed in January 2007. According to reports, there was only one run of these notes, but it was a full one, with 3.2 million notes printed.

A nice surprise during a bank visit last week to get $10s -- three Series 1985s including this one:

I got a 2003A B-B $1 at the bank today, and it's in better condition than many of the 2013s I get considering it was printed in July 2005. I also got a 1995 $5 that the teller found for me after I asked if there were any old bills.

Yesterday's group of $10s was unusually eclectic. In the middle of the half strap was a group of 18 old style $10s - 1 Series 1993 and 17 Series 1995. The notes must have been kept together for years because most of them were in nice condition and exhibited a common soft bend in the middle. Here is the block breakdown: 1993 - BC 1995 - AA, BB, BB, CA, EA, EB, EB, GB, GB, GC, GC, GC, GD, IA, JA, LA, LC

My "enabler" from school (the same guy that showed me a fake 20, traded some unmarked ones for WG bills, and traded a 1988A 10) had a 1988 50 dollar bill today, which I traded out. It's in pretty good shape for its age and I'm curious as to what would happen if someone tried to spend it (does not have a security strip due to its age) somewhere since it looks different.

I once spent a marked 1988A $5, and the Walmart lady didn't bat an eye...however, being a fifty, it may provoke some concern. Congrats on your find! EricND, who's been at this a lot longer than you have, has only ever entered one 1988 $50, with no hits. He still hasn't entered the following: 2013 $100 1969B $50 1969A $5 and $50 1963 $10 and $20 He does not plan on entering any 1966 bills...

I've already posted this one elsewhere here, but I'll add it on to this thread also for posterity's sake. It came across the counter to me at my bank a little over two weeks ago. Believe it or not, I got the following 1950 series note too in the course of the very same transaction.

I got these 2 today while dumping halves. The teller picked them out of the stack and set them aside as she was counting out my cash back. I told her I would take he old bills if she didn't want them. I has another teller at another branch do the same thing and I told her if she wasn't saving them for herself I would take them. She said most people don't want the old bills and actually refuse them.
