I agree, it is nice to rescue the small portraits.

Some look pretty beat up but you have one that might have come straight from the BEP.

Check out the serial number that begins with 99. Is that from an uncut sheet?

I'm not sure but the cuts look nice and neat so I would imagine that it isn't but you never know... I agree though, they are pretty beat up (all of them)!
Rest in Peace

Okay -- I just waded through the PDF of serial numbers and other info. at USPaperMoney.info and it seems that there were no uncut sheets for that series.

Oh well....

People have been known to cut up the uncut sheets, sometimes in an effort to create what appears to be a printing error.

Anyway, the number caught my eye.

I kinda like that large-portrait, non-colorized 10. Very turn-of-the-century.

It's wrinkled but I can't remember the last time I saw a note from the 80's out in the wild -- it's been years, I think.

Rest in Peace

It's been a long time since I've seen anything from that series in circulation. Love the small portraits.

Series 1996 Fifty Dollar FRN. I spotted this one in the tellers drawer as I was paying for fuel. It is a little crinkled but still has a good crisp. I always like to see these and older Bills floating around, I never was fond of the Bills with color, 2004 to date, the Ten Dollar Bill being the worst in my opinion.

Pulled from a $2,000 federal reserve pack ordered from the bank... they are all 1976... I think I had one more that didn't make it into this picture...

I found this 1963 $1 note this past weekend. I know it's not in the best of condition. It's almost inconceivable that it was even found in circulation.

Found today in cash register. In pretty good shape for being in circulation for over 50 years.

That is in good shape. Better than the one you found last month.

I'd probably keep your latest find -- even though it might not be worth more than a dollar -- it's just amazing to find something that old in such good shape.
