I looked at it briefly before work yesterday morning, but didn't have time to solve it. Now that I see that it has not been solved, I'll work on it - must be a tough one!

Can I take one match out, and stand it on end all by itself since a match has a square cross-section?

Correct rikcando!

You guys are way too good!

3 Scooby Snacks to rikcando!

I have one more for today. It's not too terribly difficult, but will take a little time to solve. Let me just double check my facts and figures.

Go grab some popcorn - I'll be back in just a bit.

This is keeping me away from nod's puzzle which is kind of a good thing. It was driving me mad. And it's also keeping me from building that shed I am supposed to be working on so I might have to skip the next one.

Thanks for the challenges.

You'll need a piece of paper and a pencil for this one. Ready?

For 4 Scooby Snacks:

Five men live in five separate houses of different colors-red, yellow, blue, green, and ivory.
Each has a particular pet, a favorite drink, and a favorite brand of candy.

We have the following information about them:
a. Bob lives in the red house.
b. Tom drinks tea.
c. Coffee is drunk in the green house.
d. George owns the dog.
e. Fred lives in the first house on the left.
f. Gummy Bears are eaten in the yellow house, next to the horse.
g. The green house is to the left of the ivory house next door.
h. Milky Ways are eaten next to the house where the fox is kept.
i. The person that likes Snickers owns snails.
j. M&M's are eaten with orange juice.
k. Steve likes Skittles.
l. Milk is preferred in the middle house.
m. Fred lives next door to the blue house.

The original question was: who drinks water and who owns the zebra.
But, I want you to name who lives in which color house, their favorite drink, favorite candy and their pet.
