I may be tipping my hand here (and by tipping my hand I mean you all knowing I'm completley lost as a matter of fact) but was anyone else thrown off by guess #30

I was thrown off by the first 29!

Something just wasn't adding up and I noticed there were some currencies that hadn't been called yet, so I thought I would try to flush the last one or two out.

it wasn't the guess so much as the answer to the guess that tossed me for a loop. I'm not being humble here or trying to deceive anyone - these twists really are pretty tough to noodle through the options. And the answer to guess #30, really put a knot in my knickers (to mix as many metaphors as I could think of into one long sentence)

oh, I'm not complaining. I enjoy these MM games. It is a great mix of strategy, brain exercise, comradery and competition.

It's almost crunch time at work and I may not make it back before guesses reset. So, let's see where I am in the game:

Scotty, usually it's just straight picks. We throw in the twists only occasionally to mix it up.

OK, first thing congrats Scooby for getting the first 4. I do see where my logic was flawed (no additional pile on requested).

Second, I didn't throw the red challenge flag, I shouldn't be charged a timeout.
