im not expert, but when I go to cherry pick I try my best to find the 64+s. it is so hard to find them. I mean, you gotta think the dealer picked them out right? I mean with the coins I got, I feel like I got some 65s in there

I'm definitely in for this. I'll pick up a few dates from you for sure. I just started putting together a set and have a grand total of one coin... so I'll be needing everything except a 1955. And I'm looking for choice (63) or better. However, no way I can buy them all at once. I'd probably buy somewhere between 3 and 10 of them, depending on the price :)

im very excited I have some people interested in this venture. I do not have a lot of time during the week b/c of work, but this weekend I will venture in and pick up only a few, budget reasons. maybe 3 if I can get him to sell me 3 underspot... the dates will most likely be 59-63. I will post them up here and we can negotiate prices then.

edit post...

yea I know there is a lot to chew on..

my plan, weather to sell to the CCF community or just stock up and sell myself, advertise right and make some profit. my shop lets me have it for less than grey sheet price, I mean heck, he was giving me FBL int state coins for UNDER MELT.. if I can do that and even sell a common date, 58-63 in mint state for 10-15, I made profit; any profit is good profit right? anyway, when I get some more money freed up I plan to start cherry picking out the really good ones, again, the coin shop gives me a price and he tells me to pick which ever I want, even if the guy thinks it could make ms65, I get the same price... gotta love that

as far as other coins? right now I'm infatuated with MR Franklin...

What's the current Grey Sheet bid/ask on MS63 58-63 Franklins? Mine is about 6 or 7 months old before the silver run up.

It sounds like a fairly good plan if you're sure you know how to grade Franklin halves well and you know how to identify FBL's.

Good luck!

hard to make any money prob not even worth your time.

Being the commom date franklins 55-63 MS-60 are only worth about $12
http://www.numismedia.com/fmv/price...icesgd.shtml

If he sells them to you around melt at $9 each and your wanting to give CFF members a deal on ms+ coins
You are def gonna have to get 49 -55 plain , s,d valued higher in MS+ value

Then the 50's 60's common mint lower grades becuase I dont think anyone will pay above melt even for the BU and AU stuff unless its the 49-s and 52s even in that condition they are not worth much above melt if your trying to give anyone a deal

copper top,
good points

the thing is these BU rolls my dealer has, contain so manny nice coins!

im telling you, the coins I got, were def MORE than ms63.. thats what I'm hoping for.. and if not CCF members, then I will try and sell them the best I can, or, just end up collecting them =D

yea man if they are ms63+ at melt def a good deal even the common dates

But be sure to really check um good ms+63 franklin that is worth $15-20
in BU/AU condition might only be worth 9-10$

wierd how how franklins can double in value even triple in value from ms63 to ms65

But at melt or under , you can hold um if they dont sell and just take um to another place buying around melt price free up some cash then cherry pick the guy that lets you for diff dates and see if those sell
