Just got this 1926s Wheat cent and can't figure out the reverse. It looks kind of like the outline of Lincoln but I am leaning more towards just grease filled.

Trying to get better pics.

Yep, you are correct that it is an outline of Lincoln. It is not caused by a die clash though, it is a form of die wear typically seen on VLDS early Wheaties.

Someone just posted one similar not long ago. I thought it was a die clash, too.

How does the image get transfered to the reverse die if there is no clashing?
