Working on my photography. Is this clear enough to grade accurately?

I think your photography could use a bit more light, the pictures seem a little dark.

Sorry I can't help with the grade, I am not familiar with grading wheats.

EF40

I think your focus is pretty good. It looks like the reverse may be just a touch out of focus. ONE CENT looks just a tad blurry.
I don't know what your lighting setup is or what your camera settings are, but the pics are on the dark side. As the pics are now, it would be hard to see any minor hits or other minor defects (not that this coin has any, it's a very nice example ).

Good enough, but listen to CBW, just a bit dark. Also, don't put them together like that. Use a separate pic for obverse/reverse, size them right, and you won't have to use photobucket. It's MUCH better to host the pics on the forum because they'll be here forever. These posts may be useful for someone down the road in a few years from now and those bucket pics will be long gone.

Thanks guys. I'll see what I can do to improve my lighting and focus. So the consensus is EF40?

I little too much flattening on the cheek and jaw for AU. Remember, in 1909 these were brand new, fresh dies.
