Bought some MS64 Rd's in PCGS slabs to upgrade my boys Dansco for Christmas. I put them in his Dansco and wrapped it up, he should be surprised. Most of these were pretty nice already.

Cheek and beard a little flattened, some flattening of the wheat stalks.

Thad, you matched my grades on all of these except for this one. I had it at AU50.

New master dies in 1916, these are always well-struck so it's easy to tell the wear. The cheek and jaw are too flat to make AU IMO.

It doesn't take much to impress me. The sweet spot on these is the superb beard detail...at least, for me. That's worn out, here. I could still go low AU on that, though, easy. Nice chocolate color on it, too. Heck, I could almost eat it.
