Hi all!  Thought I'd get in on the contest too. Hope you don't mind. My guess is: 1937 ( no mint mark) Half Penny, Great Britain?

Some of us are going in the same circles I see. I think it could be 1998 Royal Mint (Wales) 1000 Rupees 50th Anniversary of Sri Lanka regaining Independence.
