x = [# of bobs in a ned] + [# of zacks in a Sick Sheep] ÷ [# of

altyns in six grivnas] x [# of eagles in a half-union] - [# of

bluenoses in a toonie] ÷ [# of madza caroon in a pair of knickers]

Assuming
a = [# of bobs in a ned]
b = [# of zacks in a Sick Sheep]
c = [# of altyns in six grivnas]
d = [# of eagles in a half-union]
e = [# of bluenoses in a toonie]
f = [# of madza caroon in a pair of knickers]

Reference
a)In the US a ned was a ten dollar gold coin, and a half-ned was a

five dollar coin. In parts of the US 'bob' was used for the US

dollar coin.
b)Two Dollars - $2 Sick Sheep (reference the green colour and the

merino ram thereon) and Greenback borrowed from the U.S.). The

Sixpence - 6d - was often referred to as a ‘zack' which was an

Australian / New Zealand term which referred to a coin of small

denomination such as a sixpence or 5 cent coin.
c)he hryvnia, sometimes hryvnya or grivna. code: (UAH), has been

the national currency of Ukraine since September 2, 1996. The

hryvnia is subdivided into 100 kopiyok. Altyn coins were minted

from 1654 under Alexis I, under Peter I as silver coins from 1704

to 1718, and under Nicholas I as copper coins with a value of

three kopeks from 1839.
d)The Half-Union was a gold United States coin minted as a pattern

in 1877 with a face value of US$50. The four main base-units of

denomination were the cent, the dime, the dollar, and the eagle,

where a dime is 10 cents, a dollar is 10 dimes, and an eagle is 10

dollars.
e)The Bluenose schooner has been the reverse design of the

Canadian dime since 1937. The toonie is a pet name given to the

Canadian two dollar coin, derived from its value and the

previously released one dollar coin called a loonie due to the

depiction of a loon on its reverse.
f)Madza caroon - half-a-crown (2/6) from the mid 1800s. Nicker - a

pound (£1). Pair of nickers/pair of knickers/pair o'nickers - two

pounds (£2), an irresistible pun.

Therefore
a = [1 ned / 1 bob] = [$10 / $1] = 10
b = [1 Sick Sheep / 1 zack] = [$2 / $0.05] = 40
c = [6 grivna / 1 altyn] = [6(100 kopek) / 3 kopek] = 200
d = [1 half-union / 1 eagle] = [$50 / $10] = 5
e = [1 toonie / 1 bluenose] = [$2 / $0.10] = 20
f = [1 pair of knickers / 1 madza caroon] = [£2 / (1/2 crown)] =

[40 shilling / 2.5 shilling] = 16

Thus
x = [1a] + [1b] ÷ [1c] x [1d] - [1e] ÷ [1f]
x = [1a] + (([1b] ÷ [1c]) x [1d]) - ([1e] ÷ [1f])
x = [10] + (([40] ÷ [200]) x [5]) - ([20] ÷ [16])
x = 10 + (.2 x 5) - 1.25
x = 10 + 1 - 1.25
x = 9.75
