Looks to me to be XF to AU. Super nice!

A lot of people upload the larger photos to something like photobucket or picasaweb and then use the image link in the Format toolbar to pull the picture in.

This is a valuable coin that should find it's way into a top TPG slab if you are considering selling it. What does the edge look like?

It looks AU for sure and fenton's AU55 sounds very possible. AU53 seems a sure thing. This is a $1500 coin if problem-free in a 53 or 55 slab.

Congrats on solving the picture problem. I agree that AU-53 to AU-55 is about right. These have sold for $1000-1500+ on Heritage auctions certified in that grade. Really nice coin there!

This is likely more than a $1500 coin. It's O-101, R.5. Do me a favor, w1a9c8k5? Have a look at the edge, and let me know what if anything appears between DOLLAR and FIFTY.

ANACS has graded 458-1809 Bust Halves. Only 8 are this variety, none of which reach the grade of this coin.
Rest in Peace

I was wondering if it was the XXX edge, more valuable.

Yeah, a VF35 example went for $1600 at Heritage earlier this month.

Really? VF-35? I bought an anacs AU details for $700 awhile ago, but the seller had said it was lightly wiped and it was a complete lie, so I returned it.

Nice pictures and a very nice coin. AU-53 sounds about right, I see what looks like some graffiti above the eagles head which might drop the grade to AU-50. Still a very nice example of an R-5 coin.

Yeah there is something going on over the Eagle's head hopefully that won't hold it back to be honest at first glance I was thinking AU-58 but a few of those marks made me pull it back to AU-55. Usually below AU-55 you start to see some wear in the bust area but on this coin it's remarkably wear free.
