I have bought from Colonial for the last few years. I find their service is great. If you see a coin or note you want, you can always call them and haggle a good price. It works, they are real fair.
I agree their shipping can be high, but for the most part, I go pick up and end up buying more. LOL

I found CA very slow with orders. Also, their Mint and graded coins were often over-graded or flawed in some manner. Good prices for cases, mylars, etc. Reasonable shipping.

Terrible communication skills with email but very polite via telephone. They sure use a lot of tape in their packaging; deliveries are safe & accurate, but super slow!

Would never buy bullion from them again. Overpriced & flawed. I received a bunch of grizzlies loaded with unsightly milk spots, impossible to remove. Nicely packed though..

Consider them a 2nd-hand bargain-type store....
