That's a fun coin! I just sent one into PCGS a couple of weeks ago. This variety, even though published in the Cherrypicker's Guide, has never gotten a lot of attention. If you list it on ebay, you could expect a price of $10-20 in grades fine through XF. On the '28-S SL quarter with inverted MM, I just picked up a VG example on ebay for $20. In uncirculated grades, both of these coins are fairly expensive. -Chris.

That's great Chuck! Hey, any idea on the population? I mean a working dies life can pump out quite a few.

Well, "population" and "mintage" are two completely different things. It's survival versus made. I know of fewer than a dozen of these out there, but there were probably over 100,000 minted. Of course until about five years ago they were viewed as normal coins. It'll take some time for them to catch on.

Back from the woods temporarily ... nice find! Can't wait for next winter, when I will have a chance to go through my LWC again!

I'm 90% sure I found one a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately I don't have a camera so I could get it confirmed here.
