hey zeewool you do know that the bill has 2 different serial numbers? the 2 things you circled are the same on both serial numbers the only thing different is the first digit.

Thanks for pointing that out ckrakowski.... Yes, I do believe that you, the OP, and everyone else who believes that the note is a genuine error is most likely correct about it being a mismatched serial number..... however, I have seen (more than a couple of times) where a note had been tampered with, and even in hand, it was very difficult to tell..... I can only go by the OP's view that the prefixes are both "B", and that the last digits are both "7".... the picture provided (on my screen anyway) is extremely blurry, and most likely this is what causes things to appear strange to me..... Maybe you are capable of seeing this note clearly on your screen, where I am not.

edited to add:
One more thing: (On my screen), the right serial number seems to be dimensionally longer than the left serial number (which is odd to me), but again, it could be just the distorted picture that I am viewing.
