Both, known for some mushy dies, but usually not as bad as the previous S mint 20's. There's also large and small S varieties, the large S being the more scarce.

This looks like a small S, VF-35/EF-40, it's a nice coin. It could use some TLC on the verdigris.

I'd be at EF40 on this one - and I agree that it's a small S...the more common one.
